Ogaufi Motlagomang Mampane
Ogaufi Mampane has over ten years of experience in diplomacy, working with various institutions, businesses, and government departments. Currently, Ogaufi is an assistant director at the Department of International Relations and Cooperation, responsible for bilateral relations between South Africa and the central African countries of Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, and Sao Tome and Principe. These relations include economic cooperation and people to people exchanges. Ogaufi holds an honors degree in International Relations from the University of Johannesburg, where she majored in Political Risk and International Political Economy. Ogaufi is driven by her vision of an educated, self-sufficient, and driven youth constituency. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, she aims to share the knowledge that she gained with others and develop concrete plans to promote equal access to higher education opportunities and career planning, especially for gendered careers.
