Mehri Druckman is the country director for Ukraine and chief of party for the Ukraine National Identity through Youth (UNITY) program.

Prior to her current role, Mehri served as IREX Ukraine Country Director and led strategic program development, and provided senior managerial support to 50+ staff implementing IREX/Ukraine’s complex, multi-donor portfolio, including Learn to Discern in Education (L2D-Ed) an in-person and online media and information literacy program that is being embedded into the education system; Veteran’s Reintegration, working with the Ministry of Veteran Affairs on building a unified registry of veterans and expanding employment opportunities and mental health services for anti-terrorist operation veterans; and America House, a dynamic innovation hub that convenes 300 local and international partners and expands opportunities nationally. Previously, she led the USAID-funded Yedyna Hromada (United Community) project which supported community-level conflict transformation, and served as the Global Technology Advisor for IREX's Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation-funded Beyond Access project, helping build the capacity of public libraries to deliver efficient services that meet local community needs.

Mehri designed and managed Learn to Discern project, an innovative solution to misinformation that reached over 15,000 Ukrainians that is now applied in over 11 countries.
