Millicent is a senior program coordinator for the the West Africa regional office for the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders. In this role, she is responsible for the coordination of all activities of the West African team. In particular, she oversees the practicum and mentorship follow-on activities across West Africa, as well as the annual West Africa Regional Conference.

Prior to joining IREX in April 2015, Millicent worked as a program officer with the African Center for Peace Building, a Ghana-based NGO. In this role, she was responsible for the administrative management of the organization. She is experienced in issues of peace and security and youth development and has a passion for community service.

Millicent holds an MA in conflict, peace, and security from the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre, Ghana, and a BA in political science and psychology from the University of Ghana.
