Martin Pechijareski is a monitoring, evaluation, and learning program officer for the YouThink project in North Macedonia.
In this role, he refines and implements the program’s monitoring, evaluation, and learning plan across all program components. This included identifying monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes, as well as tracking output and outcome indicators specific to youth and citizen engagement. He provides day-to-day program support and ensures successful collection and analysis of project monitoring and evaluation data that serves to inform project implementation and reporting.
Prior to joining IREX, Martin served as a monitoring and evaluation officer at Chemonics International and AECOM on the USAID-funded North Macedonia Support Initiative. As the program’s monitoring and evaluation lead, he was responsible for the overall quality of monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems and processes at the program and activity level.
Martin graduated summa cum laude from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University with a bachelor of arts in political science. He also holds master of arts in political science from the Central European University. He is fluent in Macedonian, English, and Serbian.
