As an agronomist and specialist in natural resources and environment management, Julio Forges has ten years of experience working with vulnerable families in rural Haiti. During his fellowship in the United States, Forges hopes to learn to engage young people to act on environmental problems as well as effective community organizing around these issues. Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, Forges will work with youth to create tree nurseries in the community.
