Jordyn Iger is a program associate for the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders. In this role, she supports program operations such as fellowship application support, data management, and program event and travel logistics.

Jordyn joined IREX alongside completing a master's in global human development from Georgetown University.  Previously, she conducted due diligence and managed corporate grantmaking programs for nonprofit crowdfunding platform GlobalGiving.  As a Peace Corps Volunteer in Senegal, she translated a widely-used health booklet from French into the local dialect of Pulaar and organized training for local health workers on use of this translated resource.  Having interned twice at the Department of State, Jordyn brings to her role prior experience working on the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders as well as the Middle East Partnership Initiative.

Jordyn holds a BA in communication studies from Northwestern University.  She is proficient in French and Pulaar/Fulani and has experience with Chinese, Arabic, and Wolof.
