Jeddú Villatoro is the monitoring and evaluation and database coordinator for the Proyecto Acción Transformadora in Guatemala. He is responsible for the development and maintenance of MEL information system, creation, and validation of monitoring instruments and data quality for reporting indicators.

He has worked as a software developer in many institutions and has experience developing mobile hybrid apps for iOS, Android, and web applications. In his last job, he implemented human resources information systems for transparency strengthening at the Ministry of Health of Guatemala and the Dominican Republic. During his intervention, he supervised census and optimized operative processes for hiring, training, and employees archive, among others.

Currently, he is studying social anthropology at the public university of Guatemala. He is a member of the  Guatemalan Free Software Community and has participated over the years as a speaker in Guatemala’s Free Software Congress with topics around free culture, photography, eGovernment, and transparency.
