Jasmin is a program associate with the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) Professional Fellows Program.
In this role, Jasmin supports Fellowship recruitment and selection, all monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities, and manages Fellowship logistics.
Prior to joining the YLAI Professional Fellows Program, she supported the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders at IREX. In this role, Jasmin implemented program operations including the Fellowship application, selection, placement and visa processes.
Previously, Jasmin spent several months in South and Central America where she completed a Spanish language immersion program and played professional women’s soccer.
Jasmin graduated magna cum laude from Queens University of Charlotte, North Carolina with a bachelor of arts in international studies with a focus in international law and organization and a double minor in French and business leadership. While a student, Jasmin received a full-tuition scholarship through academic programs and competing in Division II Athletics. Jasmin also has a background in campaign election work and small business growth.
