Emily Beaudoin is a program officer for Support Her Empowerment - Girls’ Resilience, Enterprise, and Technology Initiative (SHE’s GREAT!).
In this role, she supports country launch, grants management, budgeting, and staffing across the seven countries the program operates in globally.
Prior to joining the SHE’s GREAT! team, Emily was a program officer for the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) Professional Fellows Program, where she led Fellowship recruitment and selection, managed all monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities, and supported partnership engagement.
She originally joined IREX in 2017, managing the coordination of the Africa-based program interventions of the Mandela Washington Fellowship. In this role, she led program communications and reporting, and coordinated operations, finances, and grants management for the project's field offices in Ghana, Kenya, and South Africa. She also contributed to program and organization-wide monitoring, evaluation, and learning efforts and supported event-planning and logistics of the program's annual Africa-based Regional Conferences.
Emily graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts in gender studies and minors in international development studies and peace studies. While a student, she spent time in Jordan, India, Ghana, and Washington, DC, working on various global women’s issues.
