Emily Beaudoin is a program officer for the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) Professional Fellows Program.

In this role, she leads Fellowship recruitment and selection, manages all monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities, and oversees Fellow monitoring and advising engagement.

She originally joined IREX in 2017, managing the coordination of the Africa-based program interventions of the Mandela Washington Fellowship. In this role, she led program communications and reporting,  and coordinated operations, finances, and grants management for the project's field offices in Ghana, Kenya, and South Africa. She also contributed to program and organization-wide monitoring, evaluation, and learning efforts and supported event-planning and logistics of the program's annual Africa-based Regional Conferences.

Emily graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts in gender studies and minors in international development studies and peace studies. While a student, she spent time in Jordan, India, Ghana, and Washington, DC, working on various global women’s issues.
