Christi Anne Hofland is the director of America House in Kyiv, Ukraine. She manages the overall operations of the center, including a variety of innovative programs and events.

Christi Anne has extensive experience in Ukraine and a background in US government programs. She completed an internship in the Public Affairs Section of the US Embassy in Kyiv, taught as an instructor of English at the Center of Modern Foreign Languages at Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv, and established an art therapy program at the Odessa Children’s Rehabilitation Center on a Fulbright fellowship. She received multiple scholarships to study in Ukraine and Russia, including three US Department of Education Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowships and a US Department of State Critical Language Scholarship. 

Christi Anne holds an MA in public administration with a certificate in international development and an MA in Russian, East European, and Central Asian studies with a certificate in transatlantic studies from the University of Washington. She speaks Russian and Ukrainian.
