Brenda Mejía is the technical assistant for the Proyecto Acción Transformadora in Guatemala.
Brenda is responsible for supporting the execution of technical and operational tasks focused on the success of the project. These tasks go from actions to guarantee the proper functioning and coordination of the project to assisting the technical team in its various activities for the fulfillment of the proposed objectives, as well as supporting the logistical and administrative management necessary for the development of events.
As a training expert of the educational model for competences and constructivism for meaningful learning, her contribution to Proyecto Acción Transformadora is the development and preparation of teaching materials (guide for facilitation and didactic booklet for young leaders) to be used in the political training process.
Brenda has experience in education and project assistance. She has worked at different state institutions (Supreme Electoral Tribunal, National Dialogue System, and Ministry of Health), international cooperations (UNDP and GIZ), academic institutions (University of San Carlos de Guatemala and Rafael Landívar University), and non-governmental organizations such as Women Transforming the World, INTERPEACE, and IDEM. She has also provided pedagogical and systematization consultancies of independent processes.
