As a community mobilization coordinator for Action for Girls by Girls (AGIGI), Auleria Kadyampakeni has experience conducting community awareness campaigns on girls’ empowerment and community mobilization in community development projects. Upon returning to Malawi, Auleria will work to increase awareness of the importance of women’s involvement in decision-making and to holistically help women and girls contribute to the socio-economic development of Malawi. Auleria will be placed at YWCA in Austin, Texas working in three of their programs to eliminate racism and empower women through advocacy and local programming
