Ashley Grimes Boyles
Ashley Grimes Boyles is a senior program officer for the Global Solutions and Fulbright Teacher Exchange Programs.
Ashley has eight years of experience in program management, creation, promotion, and evaluation. In the IREX Education Practice, Ashley works across programs with a focus on innovation and virtual exchange programming. Additionally, Ashley led the launch and implementation of the IREX World Smarts STEM Challenge.
Prior to joining IREX, Ashley worked at an international consulting firm where she contributed to Department of State evaluation projects, including the pilot evaluation of US-funded countering violent extremism programs and evaluation of the Bureau of Consular Affairs’ Office of Acceptance Facility Oversight. She also worked as a project officer at Kopernik, a nonprofit that builds supply chains and marketplaces for technologies in the last mile of the developing world.
Before joining the international development community, Ashley was communications and special event manager at ProMusica Chamber Orchestra and account leader at B&A, a branding agency, in Columbus, Ohio.
Ashley holds a master’s of science in global affairs with a specialization in transnational security from New York University and a bachelor of arts in communications with a minor in political science from The Ohio State University.
