Anne Mootian has seven years’ experience in environment and water resource management. Currently, Anne is working with Narok County Government, Department of Environment, Energy, Water and Natural Resources where her main responsibility is promoting WASH with a gender lens. Anne also volunteers with Enkare Narok Water Resource Users Association where she promotes access to water and sanitation services, especially among indigenous pastoral women and girls. Anne pursued geography and environmental studies at the University of Nairobi in Kenya. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Anne plans to continue her work promoting access to water, sanitation and good hygiene among indigenous pastoral women and girls.
