Amber Ehrke
Amber manages programs and initiatives that support media, access to information and technology, and gender equality.
Currently based in Myanmar, Amber manages Navigator, IREX’s safe migration and anti-trafficking program in Nepal and Myanmar. Amber also provides technical support for Tech Age Girls, a gender equality and technology program currently being implemented in Nepal with partner READ Global. In 2016, Amber managed IREX’s Tech Age Girls program in Myanmar and was part of the research team for a Political Economy Assessment of Myanmar’s gender digital divide. Since joining IREX in 2013, Amber has supported public library modernization programs globally, promoting public access to technology and quality information.
Amber has a B.S. in journalism from the University of Florida with a focus on multimedia reporting, and an M.A. in francophone studies from Bryn Mawr College.
