Abdul Salam Kamara
Kamara Abdulsalam has over three years of experience in small and medium scale enterprise (SME) development, specifically focusing on soap manufacturing. Currently, Kamara is the CEO of Clean Soap Company Limited. The company promotes the practice of hand washing through use of their soap and hand washing stations in schools. The company also supports disability rights. Kamara holds a master’s degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, where he focused on the relationship between energy supply and SME development. He is driven by his commitment to youth empowerment and one day hopes to witness a rising middle class and an egalitarian society. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Kamara plans to continue his work in SME development with a focus on youth empowerment and the development of renewable energy.
