IREX will implement three U.S. Department of State Fulbright programs for U.S. and international teachers
The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) has awarded IREX three Fulbright programs: Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Program for International Teachers (Fulbright DAI), Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program (Fulbright TEA), and Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms Program (Fulbright TGC). Applications are now being accepted for all programs.
The Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government. It is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries.
IREX will build upon almost 50 years of impacting the lives of teachers and students around the world. Through these programs, IREX will support a community of teachers, united across borders, who will ignite student learning and prepare students to thrive in the 21st century. These teacher leaders improve learning experiences and learning outcomes for more than 50,000 students each year—and more than 1 million students during the course of their careers.
