Overview
The University Administration Support Program (UASP) Fellowship in Research Management supports the development of university research management and knowledge transfer capacity through a competitive, three stage program. The program consists of a 70-hour, three-month online Research Management & Learning course; a three-week virtual fellowship placement with a U.S. university; and a five-week in-person fellowship at a U.S. university along with an additional week of intensive research management training for the most engaged participants.
Participation in each stage of UASP is competitive and based on engagement and performance metrics. The program is targeted at mid- to senior-level university leaders who are able to affect change in their institutions. The fellowship's activities are designed to support participants in building their universities into leading research institutions that impact their communities and beyond.
Following participation, fellows are supported to implement reforms at their home institutions and integrated into the growing UASP alumni and research expert network.
