University Relations with Business and Government
Sophio Arsenishvili conducted research on the strategic planning of university development, learning the mechanisms of creating strong and realistic plans in order to develop relationships with local government and business sectors. The practice of university planning based on the evaluation of needs of the local market is still very weak in Georgia. Ms. Arsenishvili learned how such relationships are organized in a country with a free market and highly developed economy. This experience will allow Ms. Arsenishvili to develop future cooperation between TESAU (Telavi State University) and the biggest employers of the Telavi region.
