Tech Age Girls (TAG) Factsheet

The Tech Age Girls (TAG) project addresses the lack of skilled women in the field of information technology (IT) by encouraging and training the most promising young female leaders. Participants have the opportunity to advance their technical skills, learn from successful female leaders, and develop their own service projects, giving them a chance to excel in the world economy and improve their communities. IREX launched the Tech Age Girls project in Uzbekistan in 2005 and has since administered it in five more Eurasian countries.
