Strengths of the Strategic Planning Process - The Case of Kent State University
While academic institutions are very good at discerning problems, assessing situations and drawing elaborate strategic plans to resolve them, bringing such plans to life is often a challenge. The University of Ghana is no exception. That means that these documents stay on the shelves and gather dust while those affected universities operate without any focused direction and guidance. Once a tool limited to the business world, strategic planning has come to be essentially the key to survival in institutions in the social sector including Universities.
