Strategic Planning in Higher Education: The Case Study of Kent State University, USA

Lazzat Nagiyatova’s interests are in the areas of International Relations, Strategic Planning and Integration of Teaching and Research. She studied how international program offices are managed at US universities, including strategic planning and financial management, as well as development of academic exchange programs on teaching and research. Upon return to her home university, Ms. Nagiyatova intends to share her new knowledge, improve the organization of the Research and Training Departments, and establish an Informational Center for students and post graduates in order to further internationalize the institution.
