Socializing the Estonian Military into Rules of the US-Led European Security Structure (Research Brief)

The topic of this research project is the socialization process of former communist militaries into the US-led Western European security regime, anchored by the NATO alliance. I sought to evaluate my hypothesis of a language-based socialization process developed in earlier work. The project focuses on a case study of Estonia, where I was able to conduct research in and around Tallinn in June 2003.
