The representation of ethnic conflict in the Albanian press of Kosovo (Research Brief)

This study investigates, from a historic and comparative perspective, the representation of Serbo-Albanian ethnic conflict in the Albanian press of Kosovo. It also infers the intentions of the press in the promotion of ethnic tolerance and a multi-ethnic culture of peace vs. instigation of ethnic prejudice, fanaticism and intolerance. The historical and institutional factors underpinning these intentions will also be discussed.
