Quality Assurance: Internal Strategies in US Higher Education Institutions — A Case Study at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln

Lihong Liu aimed to study how US universities operate their intramural systems of quality assurance, what those systems are, and the results of those systems. She also investigated the various assessment models and criteria for evaluating the work and academic activities of faculty members, as well as their methods of teaching and academic research. Ms. Liu also investigated faculty management, especially the faculty in teaching assistant areas. Upon return to her home university, Ms. Liu planned to prepare recommendations for optimizing the quality of teaching and management in NAEA and Chinese universities.
