Levintova I introduce new, original data to the study of official discourse in post-Communist societies and compare trends in the evolution of elite intellectuals’ discourse, public opinion, and actions of the political elite along five issue-domains or dichotomies (political, ideological, economic, foreign policy, and ethnic relations attitudes) in two countries (Russia and Poland).
