M-Government in Albania: Technological Feasibility, e-Democracy, and Social Impact (Research Brief)
Since the 1990s, public sector organizations across the globe have been applying the Internet technology and other ICTs in innovative ways to deliver services, engage citizens, and improve efficiency, a set of practices commonly known as electronic government (e-government).
The on-site research supported by this grant greatly helped in understanding the current wired and wireless infrastructure, e-government/m-government initiatives and projects undertaken by the Albanian government, some of the difficulties in implementations, and what should/could be done in the future.
