Innovative Strategies of Democracy Assistance in Serbia (Research Brief)

The research seeks to provide on-the-ground empirical evidence by which to judge the more general and abstract literature on transitions to democracy, as well as to provide a starting point for thinking about evaluations of democracy assistance programs in this region. As such, it engages in both the academic debate as well as in the field of policy in this area, which is one of the central themes of US foreign policy.
