Many scholars and observers agreed that many of the consequences, positive or negative, of transformation period are conveyed through the labor market. Therefore, I decided to conduct an assessment of labor markets through the “gender” prism in order to shed light onto labor market structuring and social change process in post-Soviet Kyrgyzstan.
