Faculty Development at the University of Central Florida - A Case Study and Implications for the University of Ghana

My goal is to explore how the Karen L. Smith Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of Central Florida functions and draw points of significance for my university. This view underpins the structure of the paper. After the background, I provide, in Section 1, an overview of the FCTL. In Section 2 I outline very briefly some background information about the University of Ghana. This is followed by Section 3 where I indicate areas of relevance for my university and articulate issues that a pilot project could deal with.
