Guo Feng is interested in the area of faculty development. During his US fellowship, he investigated different practices applied in US universities and introduced his experiences upon return to the NAEA in China. Under direct jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education, NAEA provides various trainings for higher education leaders and senior university administrators nationwide. As China faces new challenges to train more educational leaders, Feng aimed to renew faculty’s knowledge of the theories and methods of faculty development. He intended to introduce the US experience to his college to strengthen and improve its management, service ability, and quality through effective faculty development.
