Establishing Self-Study Process for Internal Quality Assurance

Armen Budaghyan’s primary interest is in the area of quality assurance. He examined how self-study and internal quality assurance processes are managed in US universities in order to prepare them for institutional accreditation and other external quality assurance processes. Upon return to his home university, Dr. Budaghyan plans to prepare guidelines and recommendations on design and implementation of an internal self-evaluation process relevant to his home university and further develop those recommendations into university regulations.
