Developing University's Strategy for Achieving Global Competitiveness

I believe that the nature of the given problems exists in the current higher education transformation processes running in the Russian Federation. Today universities are planned to become parts of the market environment but their management style and goals fall behind these processes. In this concern, I am sure that today is a right time for developing systematic vision of Kazan Federal University and for implementation of solid strategic planning and economic development initiatives. The strategic planning processes and procedures in Montclair State University are effectively organized, they are transparent and streamlined. Thus, MSU’s experience in this area is of great interest to Kazan Federal University.
