Citizen Youth: University Reform and the Making of Serbia's Political Future (Research Brief)

More specifically, I tracked the various models of citizenship and democratic participation that different student organizations are invoking and implementing in the context of these reforms. I examined how different groups put ideas about democratic decision-making, legitimacy, autonomy, and decentralization into practice both on campus and at the provincial and state level. Finally, I examined how students are mediating their relationship with the post-socialist state within the particular institutional framework of the university.
