Mikhail Pevzner studied international relations and strategic planning, observing the mechanisms US universities utilize to analyze strengths and weaknesses to then develop their vision, mission statements, and strategic plan. Pevzner investigated how higher education is internationalized in the United States. Upon return to his home university, he planned to develop a strategic plan, strengthen the university’s strategic partnership with the community, and cooperate with enterprises and regional institutions.
