Case Study: Faculty Work Motivation at an American University
Krasnoyarsk State University’s Psychological-Pedagogical Department is currently undergoing a process of development where internal administrative units are changing and the department is increasingly collaborating with different regional educational institutions. As the strategic plan of the department evolves, Olga Smolyaninova wants to ensure the faculty and staff adapt to the changes appropriately. She observed how US universities deal with various human resources issues, including motivating faculty and anticipating challenges in department reforms.
