“Putting Knowledge to Work”: Students Hands-on Experience at Virginia Tech
Zoya Proshina aimed to study the areas of research management, integration of teaching and research, and corporate relations. She investigated how universities build relationships and work together with the business community. She also studied how universities track their alumni and maintain relations. Upon return to her home university, she planned to further develop its cooperation with the business community, enhance graduates’ employment opportunities, and attract investment opportunities.
