Host Opportunities

Each year IREX offers opportunities for hundreds of US universities, nongovernmental organizations, government institutions, and businesses to host students, policy makers, researchers, and interns. There are many benefits to hosting, including:
- Fellows are selected through a merit-based competition that includes interviews and language testing;
- Institutions receive free publicity through IREX and the fellow;
- Fellows contribute to institutional diversity;
- Interaction with fellows can lead to new contacts that result in international collaboration; and
- IREX sponsors fellows' visas, provides financial support, and monitors and supports their progress.
