The major goal of this study is to elaborate strategic and tactical approaches to the organization an effective system for technology commercialization at Voronezh State University on the basis of studying US universities experience in this area. The objectives of this report were: to study the technology transfer/commercialization system in US universities the experience in this area; to analyze approaches, which technology transfer senior- and middle managers use in their work; to compare results of study with Russian practice and highlight key aspects; to develop recommendation for improvement of management in the sphere of technology transfer/commercialization in universities.
