This manual provides guidance to trainers engaged in training editors and journalists to cover trafficking. The goal is to increase and improve the information available in Egypt’s mass media about the problem of human trafficking in order to strengthen public awareness, protect potential victims and spur government and civic action to fight the crime and help the victims.
This document is based on a manual created in 2003 by the International Research & Exchanges Board (IREX) (through support from the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) of the US Department of State.
