Media Start-up Assessment, 2010

This start-up assessment of civil society in Liberia was created before implementation of the Civil Society and Media Leadership Program in Liberia's (CSML) [9] civil society component. At the outset of the CSML, IREX conducted a desktop study of the media sector focusing on state of the Liberian media industry at present.  The study utilizes data from IREX’s own Media Sustainability Index (MSI) [10] including input from its partners the Liberian Media Committee, The Carter Center [11], Social Impact and the Liberia Women Media Action Committee.
