The goal of this case study is to identify the issues that have been bottlenecks in the academic administration at Makerere University as compared to how some of the issues have been identified and solved at Montclair State University. Toward this goal, the objectives of the study include: relating activities at Montclair State University and how they mirror into the vision and mission as set out in their strategy; analyzing approaches which Montclair State University has adopted by personnel to improve on the outputs and outcomes as set out in the vision; and comparing the result with practices at Makerere University, and make appropriate recommendations.
