He teaches English to about 320 students. Jesus has worked as a volunteer teaching English to prisoners of Tochiru State, and is a volunteer Religion teacher at his church. He is married and has two children. His hobbies are mountain biking and running. His primary goal for participating in ILEP is to improve his English.

Mercedes Perleche has been teaching English at a private secondary school for the past four years. Her students range from 11 to 18 years old, and on average she has 15 students per class. Before her current position, she taught English at a public elementary school for two years. Mercedes received a Graduate Degree in Education from the Universidad de los Andes. Her hobbies include swimming, reading, and poetry. Her primary objective for ILEP is to explore new methodologies for teaching English.

Ebed Sulbaran is an English Teacher. For the past five years, he has taught in both the public and private sector. He has experience teaching in rural areas, where he learned very much; while there, he helped the community by conducting workshops on English as well as other subjects. He is married and has a child. He hopes to complete his degree in English before December 2008. One of his main goals for ILEP is to learn about new methodologies that will both improve his English and help him to become a better teacher.
