The Technology for Civil Society Speakers Series brings practitioners from around the world together to discuss the role technology can plan in community development.
IREX provides a forum where innovative leaders can share how they use new technologies to increase the effectiveness of community and civil society initiatives. Groups and organizations around the world are exposed to new best practices for integrating technology into their own development projects. Additionally, the forum encourages Washington, DC’s international development community to generate new ideas for the innovative application of technology.

• contribute to an environment in which local businesses and small enterprises grow
• Explore and promote cutting-edge techniques that local leaders around the world are applying in the field
• Stimulate discussion about new applications for these technologies within the development community of Washington, DC
