Shusmita Khan

Shusmita Khan works at Eminence [6], an evidence-based Bangladeshi organization working with special emphasis on community based approaches to maternal and reproductive health, where she conducts research, implements projects and organizes scientific seminars and conferences on chronic diseases as they relate to women. Shusmita plans to focus her work on health issues among women living in low and middle income urban areas.

While in the U.S., Shusmita worked with Community Cradle [7] in Albany, NY where she conducted a nutrition education needs assessment in the Burmese refugee community, prepared a curriculum and trained service providers working with the refugee communities in nutrition education.
