Robertetta Rose currently works as Advocacy & Communications Coordinator for Water Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) [8] at Oxfam GB/Liberia Programme. Previously, she worked as National Coordinator in the Liberian Ministry of Gender and Development as a liaison between the Ministry and various United Nations agencies on programs that aim to empower women in Liberia.
During her CSP fellowship, Robertetta worked with the YWCA of Niagara [9]in New York, focusing primarily on women’s economic empowerment programs.
Upon returning to Liberia, Robertetta began implementing her follow-on project which aimed to create small associations of women in Montserrado County and Grand Cape Mount in order to more effectively promote women-led small businesses. During the spring of 2012, Robertetta successfully organized four women’s associations, with 25 members each and designed a training module on business and financial literacy.
