Pajtim Saiti is the Executive Director at the Permaculture and Peacebuilding Center in Macedonia, focusing on democratization and decentralization. Saiti works on increasing citizen participation by working with a wide variety of actors such as international, national and bilateral organizations. Saiti plans to design and implement an initiative for the physical establishment of pilot municipal centers for strengthening the role of local, neighborhood governance.
While in the U.S., Pajtim worked at AmericaSpeaks [8] in D.C. as a member of the outreach team for the Comeback America initiative and Citizen Roundtables project, conducting research and producing a white paper on participatory budgeting practices, and helping facilitate a training on participatory decision-making at the World Bank.
