Landry Mayigane is the National Coordinator of the Poulty Industry for the Government of Rwanda's Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources, working on projects that promote safe poultry production and support rural farmers to fight food insecurity through small scale poultry production. He has also been a leader of the African Youth Initiative on Climate Change, and founded the Rwanda Youth Alliance for Climate Actions. He will focus on building the capacity of youth and vulnerable communities for food security and climate change adaptation.
While in the U.S., Landry worked at Ecotrust [8] in Portland, Oregon, contributing to the development of a bioregional tool for resilience using GIS technology.
