Kaia Benson's bio
Kaia Benson oversees the Undergraduate Exchange portfolio at IREX.
Kaia has nearly a decade of international education development experience and has supported international cultural and educational exchange participants from the undergraduate to the senior scholar level. Her previous roles with IREX include serving as the Regional Director for Education Programs in the Caucasus and the education programs manager in Turkmenistan. As a US Peace Corps volunteer, Kaia co-directed the first Girls Leading Our World (GLOW) summer camp in the Khorezm region of Uzbekistan.
Kaia earned her Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University in Middle East studies and international security policy.
