Gina Hey

Gina Hey is the Deputy Director of the Novateca - Global Libraries [7] program in Moldova, a two-year learning grant to gain an in-depth understanding of opportunities for providing wide-scale public access to the internet through the existing public library network.

Prior to IREX, Gina worked in the U.S. nonprofit sector in management, training and program development. She spent nine years in Boston and New York City overseeing and developing volunteer, social service, and tutoring programs including Experience Corps and AmeriCorps.

Gina has a BA in education from the University of Iowa, and EdM from Boston University in International Educational Development, and a certificate in professional coaching (CPC) from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching.

Gina was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Moldova from 2001 - 2003 where she taugh English as a foreign language and implemented community projects.
